Wk#6 - Response to Ashley

I agree with you; however, a child needs both parents to have an understanding of the world and themselves. It takes a village to raise a child and knowing this we all serve a part in raising a child from church, school, and etc.. Some people still have that slave mental that dictates mom rearing and developing the male child (while dad is in flight and preaching of his struggles) and each child raised in the same household has a different rearing that is needed to enable and maintain strength of self and a determination of what is right from wrong. Nonetheless, it takes all of us and sometimes it becomes a struggle when we can talk about it, but who is out there to be about it.
